Project Overview
International burger brand Carl's Jr recently started franchising in the UK. Through my ongoing partnership with their parent company, they trusted me to deliver the UK website in time for their first franchise opening.
My Approach
While their in-house designer handled the visual direction, I built the CMS and front end. We used Statamic, the same CMS used across the parent company's other brand sites, to minimise the learning curve for the marketing team. I based the CMS settings on the Slim Chickens structure, making it as easy as possible to hand over. We completed the build in just a couple of weeks, ready for the first franchise opening.
Impact
As Carl's Jr establishes its presence in the UK, its website plays a key role in supporting this expansion. The site combines a fast, brand-aligned front end with a flexible, familiar CMS built to evolve with the franchise's growth in the UK market.
